Project
Column Cladding
In this project we started with a Lidar scan taken at the building site. Digitally modeling around a scanned angled support column allowed us to produce a flush interlocked cladding design. Understanding the client’s end vision, we ensured there were no visible fasteners. With the help of the created scan mesh the subtle angle of the first column was accommodated in the design. The remaining custom modular versions were adjusted to fit the unique site conditions of each column location. This resulted in a successful installation of numerous 10 m architectural feature columns flush, to finish floor and ceiling.
